Every year Wales Council For Deaf People runs a residential
Outdoor Activity Weekend for hearing impaired children
aged 8-14 years of age.

Children will have the opportunity to enjoy a number of fun activities.

This years course will be taking place at Sealyham and closing date for applications 20th June 2014

There are only 25 places available and its on a first come first serve basis

Good News for Lipreading

There have been a number of new classes or potential new classes being set up as follows:-

Bridgend - 8 taster classes - Enrole by 30th April and classes start on Wednesday 14th May between 10am - 12pm

Caerphilly - 8 week taster session after Easter 6.30pm - 8.30pm.

Llanelli - Start Tuesday 4th March - 1.30pm - 3.30pm, places still available

Rhondda Hard of Hearing Club - new classes to commence in September

Vale of Glamorgan - 5 week taster sessions throughout June 2014 at 3 venues, Llantwit Major, Barry and Penarth with a view to classes commencing in September 2014.

Blaenau Gwent - start date 2nd May 2014 for 6 weeks - 9.30am - 12 noon

Ceredigion (Morlan Centre)- Friday mornings and hoping to start April

Ceredigion (CEC, Penparcau) - Starting 29th April - 3.30pm - 5.30pm.

Merthy - venue to be arranged.
