WALES COUNCIL FOR DEAF PEOPLE IS CHANGING

We are pleased to announce that Action Deafness and Wales Council for Deaf People (WCDP) will complete their formal integration on 31st October 2025. This follows a period of close collaboration and shared planning.

From 3rd November 2025, WCDP will officially become:

Action Deafness Cymru / Byddardod Ymlaen Cymru

Mae’n bleser gennym gyhoeddi y bydd Cyngor Cymru i Bobl Fyddar (WCDP) ac Action Deafness yn cwblhau eu cyfuniad ffurfiol ar 31ain Hydref 2025. Mae hyn yn dilyn cyfnod o gydweithrediad clos a chynllunio ar y cyd.

O 3ydd Tachwedd 2025, bydd WCDP yn newid yn swyddogol i fod yn:

WHO ARE WCDP?

We are a charity in Wales concerned with deafness. Our work extends right across Wales with our registered offices in Pontypridd. We are an umbrella association working in partnership to provide support, advocacy, information and communication, working alongside those who are D/deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deafblind.

SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

You don't have to be deaf or hard of hearing to be a part of our community. WCDP advocates for the inclusion of all individuals who face hearing challenges and encourages everyone to join us in our mission to raise awareness and support those who need it.
