Supporting Families
Whether you're new to the deaf community or looking for ways to support a loved one with hearing loss, our training or free resources can help you provide the best possible support.
WCDP is dedicated to supporting children and families in developing essential confidence, social, and communication skills.
We are involved in; Deaf & Deafblind Awareness Training, offering BSL classes, & organising fun and engaging activities for children and families during school holidays.
PROJECT PLANT
Project Plant is a dedicated space designed to support parents and families of Deaf children. Located within our building, this welcoming environment will host BSL classes and support groups.
The name "Project Plant" reflects our commitment to nurturing and growing the next generation of Deaf individuals. Just as plants need care and attention, so too do our children.
To honor the memory of Sharon Phillips, a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf who made a significant impact on our community, we have named the room after her.
