Wales Council for Deaf People has a range of fully equipped training and meeting rooms available to hire at our offices.


If you are looking for somewhere to hold training, workshops, conferences, business meetings or one to one sessions then please take a look at the rooms we have available to hire below.

BILL HITCHINGS SUITE

Capacity 20 people

Full day (over 4 hours) - £80.00

Half Day (up to 4 hours) - £60.00

Includes Wall Mounted TV

GLAN DAVIES SUITE

Capacity 10 people

Full day (over 4 hours) - £70.00

Half Day (up to 4 hours) - £50.00

Refreshments

 

  • Tea/Coffee available for £1.00 per person. 1-4 rounds available (given in urn).
  • Buffet Lunch is currently unavailable.
  • Evening bookings are available but costs can vary depending on duration of hire, please contact us for a quote

Parking

 

  • Parking is allocated to 1 individual (tutor, company contact, or disabled user with blue badge). 
  • Nearby parking is located in Sardis road car park or local street parking – please note bay parking/times apply.

Cancellation

10 - 5 working days prior notice = 50% of the fee.

4 working days - day of event = payment in full. 


Please note: parking is only available for the course tutor/leader and those with a disabled badge. We recommend all others park in Sardis road car park which is a 2 minute walk away via steps.

 

If you are looking for a larger venue, we can help there too. Our sister organisation, Glamorgan Mission to the Deaf, has a large hall which can accommodate up to 100 people.

We are situated in the heart of Pontypridd. With easy access to rail and bus routes. Pontypridd is approximately 15 minutes’ drive from Cardiff and the M4. Due to limited parking spaces, all visitors are requested to park in the nearby parking facilities with CCTV in Sardis Road just 2 minutes walk from us. (Access to A1 Conference centre, Courthouse St is gained via the steps on right hand side of car park.)
